THE OWNER AND FOUNDER MICHAEL WELSH has over 50 years in the business and has designed and
produced many different types of products throughout the years, from formula race car chassis and parts,
to vending machines, medical products, electronics chassis and components, etc. Prior to the foundation
of Welsh Fabrication & Design Inc.
Michael developed and supervised the growth of a company that he was a partner in for 26 years.
This included all design work, product development, research and purchasing of all machinery, sales, marketing, employee development, and basically all issues relating to the day to day operation of a precision sheet metal facility. All this combined experience was applied to the ground up development of Welsh Fabrication & Design Inc. starting in late 2004. Since then the average term of employment is around 15 years, with a few employees still with Michael after over 30 years, making the depth of experience quite significant.
A FAMILY BUSINESS
Michael is also blessed to have his sons working with him as well. Austin, with a mechanical engineering degree is Vice President in charge of operations, and Justin, who has a degree in economics and business is Vice President of Sales. Both sons have worked at the company for over 17 years. Our facilities list is one of the most extensive in Orange Co. for a medium sized company. Our capabilities include all types of fabricated parts and assemblies, from electronic chassis and cabinets, medical industry enclosures and components, aircraft and aerospace parts, automotive parts, irrigation enclosures, etc.
